PRM · Certifications
Partner certification that proves the training landed.
A partner certification is a record that a partner completed the training your program requires. Suger PRM issues them off the back of your own courses, tracks certification and time to certification per partner and organization, and shows partners the certificates their team already holds.
What is a partner certification?
A partner certification is a record that a partner completed the training your program requires, held against the person who earned it and the organization they work for. It is the difference between a partner who attended a kickoff call and a partner you can put in front of a customer — and in Suger PRM it comes out of the courses you already published rather than a spreadsheet someone maintains by hand.
Proof, not a promise
A certification records that a partner finished the training you required, so 'they've been enabled' becomes something you can point at instead of something you remember agreeing.
Tracked across the program
See which partners hold a current certification and which organizations still have gaps, per partner and per organization, without rebuilding the list every quarter.*
Visible to the partner too
Partners review the active certificates their own team members have earned from inside your branded portal, so they can staff a deal with someone who is actually certified.
Certify completion
Let partners prove they did the work
Certifications close the loop on enablement. A partner who works through the courses you published ends up with a certification tied to their name and their organization, which is what a partner manager needs when they decide who to put on a deal — and what your team needs when a tier depends on being enabled.
What a certification gives you
- A record that a partner completed the training you required
- Certification held against the individual and their organization*
- Built on the courses you published in the partner LMS*
- Earned and viewed inside your own white-label portal
Tracking and reporting
Know who is certified — and how long it took
Certification tracking answers the two questions a partner program gets asked every quarter: how much of the channel is enabled, and is enablement getting faster. Suger PRM tracks completion and time to certification per partner and per organization, so the answer is a report rather than a survey.*
- Certification status per partner and per organization*
- Time to certification, so you can see onboarding speed*
- Certification tracking and LMS reporting in one place*
The partner side
How a partner earns and reviews a certificate
Certification is a three-step path for the partner, and all of it happens in the portal you branded. Nothing asks them to log into a learning tool with your vendor's name on it.
Complete the training
The partner works through the courses you published to them in the partner portal.
Earn the certification
Finishing what you require turns into a certification recorded against that person and their organization.*
Review active certificates
The partner reviews the certificates their team members currently hold from their own view in your portal.
Partner certification documentation
Two docs cover certification: how partners prove they completed the training, and how they review the certificates their team already holds.
Where certification fits in Suger PRM

Partner certification questions
What is a partner certification?
A partner certification is a record that a partner completed the training your program requires. It turns enablement into something verifiable, so you can tell which partners are ready to sell and which are still working through the material.
How does a partner get certified?
They complete the training you published to them in the partner portal. Finishing what your program requires produces a certification recorded against the person and their partner organization.*
Can we see who is certified across the program?
Yes. Suger PRM tracks certification per partner and per organization, so you can see which partner companies are covered and which still have people mid-way through the training.*
What is time to certification?
Time to certification measures how long a partner takes to go from starting your enablement to holding the certification. Suger PRM reports it per partner and organization, which is how you tell fast onboarding from stalled onboarding.*
Can partners see the certificates their team has earned?
Yes. Partners review the active certificates earned by their team members from inside your branded portal, so a partner manager can staff a deal with someone who actually holds the certification.
Do certifications need a separate learning platform?
No. Certifications sit alongside the courses in the Suger PRM partner LMS and inside the same branded portal partners already use, so there is no second platform to buy, brand, or administer.*
